Florists Supply has been in business since 1935.  We are a privately-owned Canadian company with our head office founded and located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The company expanded to Saskatoon in 1980, Edmonton in 2002, Vancouver in 2005 and Calgary in 2014.
The company has never lost sight that its primary customer is the retail florist and it strives to be a full-service supplier to the retail florist. Florists Supply has always taken a strong role in industry education and support, including offering hands on design seminars and educational design shows, as well as having several employees serve on Flowers Canada boards at the regional and national levels.

In looking back, Florists Supply, was one of the first Canadian companies to directly import plastic and silk flowers, starting in the 1960s. Part of the company’s success has been its ability to recognize changes in the industry and to adjust its product offerings, including shifting a major portion of sales in potted plants to fresh flowers in the early 1990s as plant sales were channeled directly to larger retailers by growers.

We can proudly say that we are the oldest wholesale florist in western Canada. Age of a business is a testament to the dedication of staff and management, strength of relationships with vendors, and most importantly, relationships with you, our customers.
